Using the CULTURAscope Model of Health & Advancement, Dr. Harris approaches her work with clients by first getting a clear understanding of their background, values, and primary concerns. She integrates, developmental, multicultural, psychodynamic and evidence-based behavioral therapies (e.g. Trauma-focused CBT, DBT, MATCH-ADTC) to develop a personalized, holistic (i.e. biopsychosociocultural) treatment plan for each client.
She uses a collaborative, solution-focused approach with her clients to set treatment goals and to assess continual progress. Her compassionate, caring and calm demeanor makes her easy to talk to and her passion for empowering others is a natural motivator to help clients achieve their goals.
